Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using tabl (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and tabl Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (“tabl,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

2. Eligibility

To use our Service, you must:

• Be at least 13 years of age
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract
• Not be barred from using the Service under applicable laws
• Provide accurate and complete registration information

By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet all the eligibility requirements.

3. Account Registration

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account.

You are responsible for:

• Safeguarding your account password
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

You may not use another user's account without permission.

4. Service Description

tabl is a platform that connects students with libraries and study spaces. Our Service includes:

• Browsing and searching for libraries and study spaces
• Booking seats and study rooms
• Managing bookings and payments
• Accessing library information and reviews

We do not own, operate, or control any libraries listed on our platform. We are a technology platform facilitating connections between users and library partners.

5. Bookings and Payments

5.1 Booking Process

• Bookings are confirmed only after successful payment
• You will receive a confirmation via email and SMS
• Present your booking confirmation (QR code) at the library
• Arrive within 15 minutes of your booked time

5.2 Pricing

• Prices are set by individual library partners
• tabl may charge a platform fee (clearly displayed)
• GST and applicable taxes are included in the displayed price
• Prices are subject to change without prior notice

5.3 Payment Terms

• All payments are processed through secure third-party gateways
• We accept UPI, credit/debit cards, net banking, and wallets
• Payment must be made in Indian Rupees (INR)
• You are responsible for any bank charges or foreign transaction fees

6. Cancellation and Refund Policy

6.1 Cancellation by User

• Cancellations made 2+ hours before booking: Full refund
• Cancellations within 2 hours: 50% refund
• No-shows: No refund

6.2 Cancellation by Library

If a library cancels your booking, you will receive a full refund and assistance in finding an alternative.

6.3 Refund Processing

• Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days
• Original payment method will be credited
• Refund timeline depends on your bank/payment provider

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Violate any laws in your jurisdiction
• Harass, abuse, or harm another person
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Upload viruses or malicious code
• Scrape or data-mine our platform
• Create multiple accounts for abuse
• Provide false or misleading information

8. Library Partner Terms

Library partners must:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date information
• Honor all confirmed bookings
• Maintain the facility in a safe and clean condition
• Provide amenities as advertised
• Respond to customer inquiries promptly
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

9. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding content provided by users), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of tabl Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of India and foreign countries.

Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of tabl.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, tabl shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
• Service interruptions or technical failures
• Actions or omissions of library partners
• Personal injury or property damage at library premises
• Unauthorized access to your data

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to tabl in the 6 months preceding the claim.

11. Disclaimer

Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

tabl does not warrant that:

• The Service will function uninterrupted or error-free
• Defects will be corrected
• The Service is free of viruses or harmful components
• Any library partner information is accurate

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.

Upon termination:

• Your right to use the Service immediately ceases
• All provisions that should survive termination will remain
• You remain liable for all amounts due

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect.

What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
