• Booking Information: Library preferences, booking history, shift selections, and payment details.
• Support Requests: Messages and attachments you send through in-app support.
• Reviews: Ratings and written reviews you submit for libraries.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Device Information: Device model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers.
• Location Data: With your permission, we collect location data to show nearby libraries and verify check-ins. You can disable location access in your device settings.
• Usage Data: App interactions, feature usage patterns, and session duration.
• Camera Access: Used solely for scanning QR codes during check-in/check-out. We do not store camera data.

1.3 Information from Third Parties

• Payment Processor: CCAvenue processes payments. We receive transaction status and reference IDs but do not store your card details.
• WhatsApp: We send booking confirmations and OTP codes via WhatsApp. We do not read your WhatsApp messages.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Process and manage your seat bookings
• Verify your identity via OTP authentication
• Show nearby libraries based on your location
• Send booking confirmations, reminders, and updates via WhatsApp and push notifications
• Process payments and manage refunds
• Provide customer support
• Calculate and distribute rewards, referral credits, and promotional offers
• Improve our Services through aggregated, anonymized usage analytics
• Prevent fraud and enforce our Terms of Service

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only as follows:

• Library Partners: Your name, booking details, and check-in status are shared with the library where you book a seat, so they can manage your visit.
• Payment Processor: CCAvenue receives necessary transaction data to process your payments securely.
• WhatsApp Business API: Your phone number and booking details are shared to send confirmations and OTP codes.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or legal process.

4. Data Storage & Security

• Your data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore) servers.
• All data transmission is encrypted using TLS/SSL.
• OTP codes are hashed before storage and cannot be read in plaintext.
• We implement Firestore security rules to restrict unauthorized data access.
• Payment data is handled entirely by CCAvenue under PCI-DSS compliance — we never store card numbers.

5. Data Retention

• Account Data: Retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time.
• Booking History: Retained for 2 years for dispute resolution and accounting purposes.
• OTP & Auth Data: OTP records are automatically purged after 24 hours.
• Analytics Data: Aggregated usage data is retained indefinitely in anonymized form.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of your personal data.
• Correction: Update inaccurate information through the app or by contacting us.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Withdraw Consent: Disable location or notification permissions in your device settings at any time.
• Data Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format.
